We work with disease surveillance data products generated by ongoing passive or active collection and reporting mechanisms, as well as more targeted local field surveys to support epidemiologic investigation of infectious disease outcomes, particularly those of zoonotic origin. We apply state-of-the-art spatial modeling and machine learning analytics to infectious disease prediction, risk mapping, and epidemiologic inference. Furthermore, we seek to pursue, develop and promote scientific research that bridges the fields of epidemiology and ecology in both philosophy and method. We feel such collaboration is foundational to the concepts of One Health and Planetary Health.
